Pastor Jerry was born and raised in Virginia. Jerry grew up in an unsaved home. In his teenage years, Jerry got into rock music, and played in various heavy metal and rock bands locally. While working at Corning, one of his coworkers invited Jerry to attend Gateway Baptist Church in Blacksburg, Virginia, at the end of the week on Sunday morning. Following the service, Pastor Dewey Weaver took Jerry aside in his office and led Jerry in prayer to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour.
Shortly after being saved and baptized, Jerry was called into the ministry, he then went off to Bible College, both Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and finishing his degree at Atlantic Baptist Bible College in Chester, Virginia. While studying at Atlantic Baptist Bible College, Jerry attended Landmark Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia, and there he met his wife Heidi Ann. Heidi is a music graduate of Pensacola Christian College, she earned he Masters in music and education and was a teacher at Landmark Christian School, attending also Landmark when she and Jerry met.
A year later they were married, and upon Jerry's graduation, and ordination into the ministry, Jerry was called to be the pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, (South-East WI/North Chicago area) Jerry authored the book Walking Through the Valleys of life, based on Psalm 23, which has sold over 2000 copies in the first year. Likewise Jerry & Heidi co-wrote the book Christian Modesty, A Matter of the Heart in 2010.
Jerry has a great burden to share the Gospel of Christ, which shows through his preaching, and with talking with him, His main heartbeat is to see people saved, baptized and discipled in the Word of God, so they can live a dedicated and committed life in Christ.
